The Payson Book Festival is presented by the Rim Country District of Arizona Professional Writers (APW) in partnership with Gila Community College to celebrate literacy and showcase Arizona authors and writers. The mission of the Payson Book Festival is to enhance the love of reading by providing an environment for personal interaction between readers and Arizona authors. Authors will exhibit and sign their books that represent many genres. These include: fiction and non-fiction, western, memoir, historical fiction, mystery, science fiction, fantasy, romance, short stories, young adult and children?s books. Author presentations will take place throughout the day and authors will be available to sign books. The book festival also will include a children?s element with story time.
